My dear sir, the last time I visited the site was 16 Jul 2005. I'm glad your back.
I not forgotten your request for an article on why more resources are not devoted to protection of judges, federal and state. Since USMS Director Benigno Reyna was given the BOOT, driven by the pressure the judges placed on the Administration. Threat and Court SecurityDivisions were not disestablished by the Service on a whim, the direction came from the Attorney General's Office. As discussed with Steve, the Service serves and takes direction from all three branches of the government. Sometimes there is a clash between the administration and judiciary. Associate Director of Operations Howard Safir was fired by the first President Bush as requested by Department of State, George Schultz. The Judiciary wanted Vesco, State wanted him free as they were using him in some capacity. Administration (1) Judiciary (0).
I've a draft, but it need polishing.
