The same as the one that exposed him on officer.com but this time using comments from this site only. If you want to see the ones from there go to ASA201 AKA Aaron claiming not to be a cop or a secuity guard but a student and then telling tales (http://forums.officer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40139&page=1&pp=25)
Allowing a complete fraud like him continue to post is dangerous and does nothing for genuine security guards images.

Ok i am looking for the UK laws specifically. I have recently been employed by a major firm in the UK. I have a patrol car with a scrolling light bar a red and blue on the front and rear dash. Also my high beam lights flash alternitavely if i activate them, also standard siren and radio coms with the office and other guards on duty. I need to know what i am allowed to carry as recently on patrol i had to put someone in the back of my patrol car when i was called to a code 4 which basically means unauthorised person is extremely dangerous area. As i was casually driving to the scene it turned into a code 1 which means staff in need of assistance, i responded with my blues and twos and when i got there my colleagues had him pinned to the ground so i grabbed in bunged him in the back of my patrol car and the police had been summoned and were waiting at the main gate. Anyway he got nicked for various offenses and the situation is pending. Now that situation got way out of hand when the person pulled a knife on one of my colleagues so another guard ran at him and jumped him from behind, now if that was the police they would have used the asp or Mace on them. Can my colleagues and i carry an asp baton, cs spray and cuffs. Also what rights to citizens have on this matter. Thanks

Ok here we go, Our cuffs, asp stay in the office or locked in the car. Which we only use when we are at work if required. Falkirk police and strathclyde police make exceptions in many occasions for large security firms and now for when we are in our work and we take the car home, we dont have to cover te lights, although we are only allowed to use them if there is an emergency incident at the workplace where the county allows us to use it.

yes we do carry and have spares of everything we carry in our cruiser. Plus a couple of extra cuffs in our cruise ;)
4.
To be honest i find that the maglite 4D cell works fine, lights up the area quicky and brightly so i use that, on my rig belt from left i have radio, speedcuffs, phone holder, rigid tri hinged cuffs (middle back rear) then at ma right aiming towards ma left as i am left handed asp 21" extenable
5.
the reason i wear the shoulder holster is that it is more comofrtable then having all the gear on ma waist and i can leave the belt in the car sometimes then just have the asp and cuffs under my jacket :)
6.
ok and i have taken heed lol, although i do have asps and cuffs and usually oc at ma place of work.
7.
well we were trained in casing an area on first arrival by the met's training and the asp training came from strathclyde police academy. Basically a resit course is where i have to go back in February to resit the training on using my asp to make sure i still am competent enough to use the asp if required
Now, we have a scenario where he has a fully equiped patrol car (Cruiser is not a UK term and I have only ever heard Aaron use it) despite sirens and blue lights being exclusively reserved for emergency services under UK law. We also then see that he later claims he isnt allowed use the siren but then backtracks and claims he can use it on public roads.
He startes by claiming he has mace, taser, cuffs and an ASP and all on his belt with spares, then it changes to being in the office or in his car (Which means in public because he takes it home  ) to then having them on a shoulder holster. This is despite these items not being routinely used by police officers and being specifically mentioned in Section 141 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (offensive weapons) under subsection J and Q as illegal weapons. If further proof is needed then how about a direct quote? "I acknowledge that bar and nightclub door staff have a difficult job to do, but we would not support them using handcuffs. Door staff only have the same powers as the ordinary citizen and that's as it should be" (http://www.spf.org.uk/101004.htm).
Another good point is even "Officers of the crown, court or council" cannot carry such weapons off-duty in public places but Aaron can? Now add all this together then go have a look at Gun Control Network (http://www.gun-control-network.org/IN0805.htm) and you will see that his original story never happened. In fact nothing like that has ever happened because Falkirk is a small place. the only large company there is the gas company and they certainly dont have armed security.
