 For those intrested in Counter Terrorism Training....

There is a counter terrorist training intitled "Counter Terrorism: Intell gathering & Terrorist Activities" seminar/conference coming up April 18th & 19th in Normal, Ill. at the Heartland Community College. Instructors are from SSI and the Isreal MOOSAB.

Its designed to cover suicide bombers, pre-incident indicators, profiling terrorist activity, who represents a threat, definition of different types of terrorists, signs of activities, how a attack might be carried out, techniques used by terrorists, different types of dispersal agents, predicting attacks, and many other terrorist techniques.

Those intrested contact Danelle Hetrick, with the 'law & justice commission' @ 309-268-8430

You can also enroll online at: lawandjusticecommissiom@verizon.net</ym/Compose?To=lawandjusticecommission@verison.net>

Normaly it cost $1,200 but as far as I know this one is free. It is funded by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board thru a Homeland Security grant.

Another score for ILET! Truly, a model organization I wish many other states would copy.
