TITLE: Sr. Security Analyst

REPORTING TO: Head of Operational Risk Management for the Americas
SUMMARY
The Operational Risk Management team is focused on achieving the highest level of safety and security for our client’s assets with risk mitigation strategies centered on the following functional areas: risk intelligence, site security (including security systems project management), employee safety and security, operations security (including product risk), incident management and business continuity.
This position will work as an integral member of a fast-paced, dynamic team in executing our core goals which include continually developing best practices around operational risk for the region and the organization
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The collection, analysis and dissemination of risk intelligence for the Americas
- Contributing to the continued development and refinement of intelligence gathering practices and methods for the group
-Enabling the organization’s business by mitigating risk to people, facilities and business operations through security audits, managing security vendors and systems and travel security provision within agreed budgets and time constraints
- Ensuring timely response and management of incidents to minimize business disruption
- Assisting and documenting processes and tools to enable the company to ensure business continuity
COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES
- Five plus years’ experience in a similar function within a blue chip, corporate or military services environment
- Proven leadership experience in managing projects or teams with demonstrable results
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A keen analytical thinker with the aptitude to collate and validate intelligence, evaluate the reliability of sources and the relevance of information to client’s operations
- Proven consultative and customer relationship skills
- Attention to accuracy as well as the ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Budget Management skills
- Ability to build and maintain solid internal and external relationships
- Pro-active & business oriented
- A self-starter and team-player
- Multi-tasking skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize according to business needs
- Ability to conduct threat and risk assessments
- Ability to conduct security surveys and inspections of buildings and installations and mitigate risks identified through appropriate channels
