Just wondering how many of you provide the capability for your clients to view their cameras from their mobile devices, and if so, what issues you've encountered, solutions, etc. For instance, how does this impact your equipment selection, setup, design decisions, etc. if at all?

Thanks!

Being of my generation I was curious what aspects of surveying you could do on a mobile phone, in theory all you need is a secured wireless stream with login functions. Obviously integrating is more complex, but I am curious to see who uses it and for what exact reasons.

I am also seeking this type of information. Watching on mobile the whole surveillance videos.

I know of one campus that has mobile video through a wireless datalink to the campus police MDT's. They use a third party software. This was done back about 5 years ago.
That being said, the DVR NVR's I deal with have an upgrade available for Ipod and I believe Blackberry remote viewing. version 4.3

I must also say I have been in the electronic security industry over 10 years now. I have seen about every major manufacturer's DVR and their problems. This one I would endorse to the max. We have 8 installs of this product and none have given me problems that weren't customer error or hardware caused.
Three of these systems are 25 cameras plus. One is 100 camera megapixel networked. 32 Terrabyte.
Tech support has helped and is very knowledgable each time. Send me a PM if you're interested.

PS I do not get commissions, I just like the product.
