I am seeking information, including opinions on infant protection sytems for hospitals.
I know of three the Hugs System, The Accutech System and The Halo System.
Please let me know what you think of these and are there others?

I welcome anyone to chime in on this one. I will give my opinion from being on the user end and the installation end.
The Halo system is good and economical. However, it is more accurate if a building or wing is designed around it instead of the other way around. Pointing antennas in the right direction and turning sensitivity up and down are the only ways to tweak the system to have the least amount of false alarms.
Hugs- It is the best. The price reflects it. It is highly customizable and accurate. One of their systems has the ability to draw the "protected" area on the computer generated floor plan. I would say a Hugs system has 50% less false alarms than any other system.

On my own point of view, the Halo Systems, got the edge when it comes to remote surveillance. It maybe a bit expensive but reliable.

If you are going to consider one I think you need a system that has the capability to stagger-tune between floors or certain zones on one floor and are going to cause alarms on a different floor.

One system I saw at a hospital worked at was that they had tapped little GPS alarms on thier heads with senors mounted on the ceiling at various locations throughout the floor.
